How To Monitor And Control People In, People Out

1. Bi-Directional Full-Height Turnstiles

With this, you can control pedestrians into construction sites, factories and other premises with the highest security requirements. These are electro-mechanical drive turnstiles with bi-directional operation that can be integrated with any type of access control and ID systems. The modular design is comprised of a Stainless Steel Turnstile and a Hot Dip Galvanised Platform Ramp for a robust and reliable solution that allows for easy relocation to another site.

2. Pedestrian Locks

Our Pedestrian Locks have a rectangle lobby with 2 sections of fence and 2 manual self-closing swing gates. They also include a maglock that can be integrated with any type of access control and ID systems.

3. Shed and Half-Height Tripod Turnstile

A pre-painted steel shed with gable roof, perfect for all weather conditions. Made of solid framed timber floor. The bi-directional turnstiles can be integrated with any type of access control and ID systems. The strengthened sub-frame allows moving and stability in situ.

Configuration options

Single Full or Half-Height Turnstile

A single turnstile is ideal for smaller sites running a single shift with fewer than 250 people. This can allow access in both directions and can move large numbers through very quickly provided they are going in the same direction at the same time.

Double (two single) Full or Half-Height Turnstiles

This is the best choice for larger sites moving 300 to 500 people or where there are people entering and exiting simultaneously. This enables efficient traffic flow even at high-demand times such as a shift-change or the start or end of the work day.

Pedestrian Lock – Single or double unit

Each unit is a rectangle lobby that consists of 2 sections of fence and 2 manual self-closing swing gates with a maglock – with various fence and gate combinations for greater security. A two-unit configuration will allow segregated one-way entry and exit.

Access Control Options

Options for entry and exit include biometric/fingerprint, key fob, proximity card, photo ID card or keypad. Software systems are available that can connect via a network that provide you with real-time reporting of people entering and exiting a site (e.g. staff and sub-contractors). Reporting includes the time and days they worked. Plus, our browser-based software runs on desktops, laptops and mobile devices

Users can be enrolled remotely or at the site office – and they can be restricted from site immediately should they lose access privileges.

Specific Process Considerations for Access Control due to COVID-19

Contactless operation is recommend you by the use of a unique ID card given to all contractors at conclusion of a site-specific induction. This can then be presented to the card reader for entry to the site.

For visitors, you can use an iPad next to the turnstile. Visitors enter details of who they are and why they are visiting. It can also include specific questions focused on COVID-19 as well as agreement to all Health and Safety policies and procedures. You can even include a bottle of sanitiser for visitors to use before and after they enter their information.
