There is no single fencing solution that suits every part of a data centre. The most effective approach is to select security infrastructure based on the specific risk profile and operational requirements of each area.
High-security perimeter solutions such as ArmourFence™ Palisade and 358 Anti-Climb Rigid Mesh are commonly used to secure site boundaries, while Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) fencing, barriers, gates, and bollards may be incorporated along road frontages or other vulnerable access points. Within the facility, 358 Mesh is frequently used for internal security cages and restricted-access areas, while 358 Mesh or chain-link fencing may be specified for generator and fuel yards, and other service areas.
