Design & Compliance Options

Hampden offers the ArmourFence™ Palisade Fencing System in both Standard and PS1-compliant designs across all standard fence heights. This provides flexibility for projects ranging from conventional perimeter security applications through to sites requiring project-specific engineering design and producer statement documentation.

The ArmourFence™ Standard Design provides a robust, high-security perimeter solution suitable for a wide range of commercial, industrial, and critical infrastructure environments. The standard design is backed by a 10-year warranty.

For projects where compliance with the New Zealand Building Code is required, Hampden also offers an ArmourFence™ PS1-Compliant Design. This option has been developed for applications requiring project-specific engineering certification and is also backed by a 10-year warranty. Components are designed to meet the requirements of NZBC B1 (Structure) and NZBC F4 (Safety from Falling) where the fence is required to function as a barrier.

High Security – Curved 3mm thick D-profile Palisade Pales and robust rail construction create a formidable barrier designed to resist cutting, bending, dismantling and forced intrusion.
Tamper Proof – Pales are secured to rails using Huck Bolts, while rails are fixed to posts using bolts and shear nuts, creating a highly secure fixing system that helps prevent tampering, dismantling, and unauthorised removal.

Adaptable Design – Designed to accommodate undulating terrain and varying site conditions, ArmourFence™ Palisade can follow ground contours and slopes up to 45 degrees while maintaining a consistent security profile. This minimises the need for stepped installations and helps maintain a continuous high-security perimeter.
Aesthetic & Configuration Options - Available in a range of heights and rail configurations, ArmourFence™ can be tailored to suit project-specific security requirements. The system can also be powder coated in a range of colours to complement architectural, landscape, and design requirements.
Corrosion Protection - All steel components are Hot-Dip Galvanised to provide long-term corrosion protection, delivering low-maintenance perimeter security solution.
